The Dubai Steering Group, established by the University Executive Board (UEB) to guide the Dubai Campus, is a committee of senior leaders who meet regularly to provide governance, strategic direction, and critical decision-making support. Reporting to the UEB through the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), they oversee the Dubai Academic Strategy Group and the Dubai Operations Board, monitor progress against the business plan, manage student and staff recruitment, and ensure positive relationships between the UK and Dubai campuses while supporting key external relationships.

The Dubai Senior Management Team (SMT) facilitates the strategic vision of the University Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ for the Dubai campus, ensuring effective management and leadership under the direction of the Dubai Steering Group. They oversee strategic delivery, maintain communication with committees, ensure education quality, develop research and business strategies, monitor recruitment, review risks, and can form other committees as needed.

The primary purpose of the Dubai Campus Operations Board is to ensure that the Professional Services that enable delivery of the academic mission and strategy of the campus are supported and delivered. The Board will monitor and support progress against the enabling strategy and risk and ensure that there are clear action plans to address progress and resolve issues that arise.

The purpose of Dubai Academic Strategy Group is to ensure synergy between UK and Dubai-based colleagues in delivering the broad campus mission, vision and strategic direction as set by the Dubai Steering Group. The Group is required to make high-level decisions in order to move issues forward in all areas affecting the campus operation but with a particular focus on key areas of Education, Research, External Engagement and Quality.

Our Dubai Education Committee addresses general learning and teaching challenges and opportunities affecting the University Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Dubai.

The role of the Dubai Research Committee is to support the advancement of research in and through the Dubai campus. It will complement the work of the Research Committees of the University, Colleges, and Schools, identify Dubai-specific challenges and opportunities, and propose solutions and enhancements to the Dubai Senior Management Team and to the Dubai Academic Strategy Group.
