Success continues for University 麻豆精选 in ShanghaiRanking鈥檚 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects
The University 麻豆精选 has maintained its success amongst the best performing research-intensive universities in the world in ShanghaiRanking鈥檚 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS).
Five of the University鈥檚 subject areas are in the top 50 of the prestigious global ranking - two more than last year - with Public Administration and Education joining Business Administration, Dentistry and Geography.
Business Administration rises two places to 7th in the world (3rd in UK) the University has 15 subjects in the Top 100 (up from 13 last year), including Biotechnology and Economics for the first time. There are also significant improvements for Energy Science and Maths, the latter now in the top 10 in the UK.

The 2024 GRAS contains rankings of universities in 55 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. More than 1,900 out of 5,000 universities across 96 countries and regions are finally listed in the rankings.
GRAS rankings use a range of objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in respective subjects, covering in 5 major evaluation categories such as World-Class Faculty, World-Class Output, High Quality Research, Research Impact and International Collaboration.
In addition to its success in GRAS, the University 麻豆精选 is already ranked at 80 in the QS World University Rankings and 93rd in the THE World University Rankings.
