The President of the Uganda Law Society (ULS) Isaac Kimaze Semakadde is in trouble for denigrating Judge Jane Abodo 鈥 Uganda鈥檚 Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). In a speech on the 18th of November 2024, Semakadde called Abodo a 鈥渧agina from Karamoja鈥, 鈥減umpkin鈥, 鈥渄imwit鈥 and 鈥渄ead wood鈥, claiming that her appointment was gendered, tribalist, and that she is an incompetent DPP.
