The Vision Impairment Centre for Teaching and Research (VICTAR) which is based in the School of Education at the University Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡, brings together the teaching and research activities of colleagues at the University in the area of vision impairment and education.
Professional development programmes
The postgraduate sensory programme is a flexible part time blended learning programme designed for those who want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people from 0-25 who are deaf, vision impaired or have multi-sensory (deafblindness) impairment. It offers 3 pathways with mandatory and non-mandatory qualifications available including a pathway for visual impairment.
