The University currently features Prof. Erik Luna as a distinguished Fulbright visiting chair (working on counter-terrorism policies).\n This workshop draws on a large-scale collaborative project Erik is just completing on criminal justice reform in the US. Our event focuses on areas of common, trans-atlantic interest bringing a number of renowned US experts to the UK. Over two days exchange on issues ranging from counter-terrorism and suspect communities to high-tech surveillance will take place. The format will be one core paper, a commentary and then discussion amongst the entire group of participants.
