Dr Endrit Kromidha is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His research interests relate to digital platforms for entrepreneurship, project management, collaborative innovation and new forms of access to finance. Endrit has published in a number of journals including International Small Business Journal, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Business Research, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Government Information Quarterly and Journal of Management Inquiry. He has received grants from prestigious institutions such as the British Council or the Open Society Foundation. 

Endrit has successfully led to completion, examined and is currently supervising more than 10 PhD students. He welcomes research collaborations on innovation talent in the sharing economy, decentralised and autonomous entrepreneurship opportunities, creativity in the metaverse space and responsible data entrepreneurship. In addition, Endrit has extensive experience leading MBA and Entrepreneurship programmes in the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has won teaching commendation and awards for his innovative approaches of using digital simulations for immersive and better learning experiences.

Endrit is the Vice-President for Policy and Practice at the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and a Fellow of Advance Higher Education Academy in the UK. He is also an entrepreneur with industry experience in banking and finance, project management, tourism and e-business.

Research

Research interests

Endrit's research interests are related to digital platforms for entrepreneurship and collaborative innovation. He has experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods to study social and economic capital exchanges in the context of the sharing economy, e-government, e-learning and information and communication technologies for development.
