This is a major turning point for character education in England; all of England鈥檚 22,000 state schools will be asked to explicitly demonstrate how they develop the character of their pupils.聽This event aims to shed light on the policy and practice of character education and will be appropriate for PSHE leads and practitioners with a specific interest in character education.\n Speakers will include:\n Professor James Arthur, Director of Education at the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues Dr. Tom Harrison Ofsted鈥檚 National Lead for聽PSHE and for Citizenship Roary Pownall. There will also be a panel discussion with聽 Bec Tigue, Head of School with particular responsibility for Enrichment and Character Education at the University 麻豆精选 School, Gary Lewis, Executive Head of Kings Langley Secondary School and Chair of the Association for Character Education, Carole Jones, Headteacher of Yeading Primary School and Damien Kearns, Principal of Nishkam High School.\n The Registration fee is 拢10.00.
