 You are invited to a panel discussion to celebrate the publication of Laura D’Olimpio’s ‘The Necessity of Aesthetic Education: the place of the arts on the curriculum’ (Bloomsbury, 2024).\n
 Three respondents will reflect on the defence of aesthetic education: Professor Kristjan Kristjansson (Professor of Character Education and Virtue Ethics at University Â鶹¾«Ñ¡â€™s Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues), Dr Elizabeth O’Brien (Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Maynooth University) and Simon Larter-Evans (Tring Park School for the Performing Arts). Laura will offer a reply.\n
 This event is hybrid and for those attending in person, drinks and nibbles will be provided. All welcome. \n
