She has a PhD in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and held post-doctoral fellowships at the LSE and St Anne’s College Oxford.\n She is co-convenor of the Political Studies Association special group on Global Development Politics and sits on the editorial board of the African Arguments book series. Her work sits at the intersection of critical development studies, politics and political theory. She has published in Governance, Journal of Modern African Studies, African Affairs and Journal of African Cultural Studies.
