DESCRIPTION:The event will explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on disabled people, who have been deprioritised in pandemic planning around the world, facing discrimination in healthcare, exclusion from education and employment, and neglect, abuse, and violence both in care and in the community.\n
 This interactive webinar will explore how the lived experience of disabled people can inform activism and politics to make the world a fairer and more accessible place for all. The session will include an overview of the key issues faced by disabled people during the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by a panel discussion with four disabled activists from different countries and contexts. There will also be time for audience discussion and Q&A. The event will be held on Zoom with live captions and British Sign Language interpretation.\n
