Travel and getting to campus

Whether you're travelling from Dudley or Dubai, it's time to start thinking about your journey to campus. We have useful information for international students, UK students, and students who will be living at home.
Getting to campus
Travelling to campus can be busy and stressful, but we're here to help.
Arriving to campus by car
We know lots of you will arrive to campus by car, with family or friends. Make sure you know which site you are heading to.
Guest parking is available in our North East Multistorey car park on Pritchatts Road. Disabled parking is available at all our car parks, and on campus.
Birmingham Clean Air Zone
If you are driving to campus, make sure you are aware of the Birmingham Clean Air Zone, which covers the city centre. Vehicles that do not meet the emission standards for the zone are subject to a daily fee. Campus itself is outside of the Zone, and it is possible to travel to campus from all directions without passing through the Zone. Many cars and vehicles are exempt.
International arrivals
We have more information about arriving as an international student. We know your journey will take extra planning, and we want to help make it as easy as possible. Our packing list includes tips for those travelling internationally, and we have guides on arriving to different airports. You can even request a free National Express voucher to help you travel from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester airports during Welcome.
