All Doctoral Researchers are provided with a lead supervisor, who will act as the main source of academic supervisory support and research mentoring during your time as a Doctoral Researcher at the University.

Quanmin Guo鈥檚 research focuses on physical processes at the nanometre scale. Fundamental physical processes such as atomic diffusion, molecular recognition and self-organisation on solid surfaces are investigated using scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and electron spectroscopic techniques.

Dr Guo's recent and ongoing research projects include:

Nanoscale fabrication based on nanosphere lithography
