The Department of Strategy and International Business at Birmingham Business School is hosting its fourth Annual Strategy and International Business Symposium (ASIBS) from Thursday 9 January - Friday 10 January 2020.

The aim of the event is to advance the understanding of various emerging topics within the international business and strategy. By doing so, it is hoped that the event will help and guide both PhD students and junior academics with their process of planning and undertaking innovative and rigorous research in order to advance knowledge as well as enhance professional standards in those fields.

Registration

This event is free of charge and it is open to all colleagues and PhD students. Since the event is restricted to 70 participants, please register no later than by Friday 20 December 2019 by confirming your attendance to Dr Amir Qamar at A.Qamar@bham.ac.uk.

Paper Development Workshop and Schedule

As part of the symposium, we have decided to hold four interactive paper development workshops on Thursday 9 January 2020. These sessions will be dedicated as interactive paper development workshops for early career researchers and PhD students. This is a fantastic opportunity to receive friendly feedback on working papers.

If you are interested in submitting a working paper please contact Dr Amir Qamar at A.Qamar@bham.ac.uk as soon as possible. Full papers will be required to be sent to Dr Amir Qamar by Wednesday 18 December.
