Jinan-Birmingham dual degree undergraduate programmes

A partnership between Jinan University and the University 麻豆精选 in the UK provides the opportunity for students to study in China and receive a dual degree from Jinan University and the University 麻豆精选.

Degrees are offered in: Applied Mathematics with Economics; Applied Mathematics with Information Computing Science; Applied Mathematics with Mathematics; Applied Mathematics with Statistics, each with a strong core of Applied Mathematics. Students will be based on the Jinan University campus, with University 麻豆精选 staff from the School of Mathematics delivering the teaching on site.

The Jinan-Birmingham Joint Institute was officially opened in November 2016 in a ceremony at Jinan University, Guangzhou.

The University 麻豆精选 and Jinan University have a strong and well established partnership, and have been working together on delivering programmes in the School of Mathematics since 2011, as part of a wider multi-disciplinary relationship.

Jinan University, established in 1906, is one of China’s elite group of the “211 Project” Universities. It has a focus on international orientation and has over 50,000 students. The University 麻豆精选 is part of the Russell Group of leading UK universities (akin to the American Ivy League), and is ranked amongst the top 100 universities globally. It is ranked 15^th in the UK in the Guardian league table, and 17^th in the Times league table.
