Egle’s research focuses on the causal links between features of neoliberalism and social harms. She is specifically interested in how factors - such as inequality, individualism, low levels of social cohesion/trust, household indebtedness, and precarious employment contribute to autonomy, relational and physical/mental health harms. Egle specialises in advanced quantitative methods, and her research utilises longitudinal, quasi-experiment and experimental research designs.

Biography

Egle is a quantitative researcher who joined the University 麻豆精选 in 2015. Apart from her studies, she has worked as a quantitative Research Assistant on a project investigating energy poverty in Latin American countries in 2021 and currently is a Teaching Associate who covers seminars for the LC Social Research I module.
