Patricia Apenteng is a Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Health Sciences and is funded by the West Midlands Applied Research Collaboration (ARC). 

Her research is centred on improving outcomes for patients and the efficiency of healthcare services.  She uses a range of research methodologies, and her work spans several disciplines including implementation science, epidemiology, medical sociology, primary care, and population health.

Biography

Patricia joined the Department of Applied Health Sciences, University Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡ in 2021.Ìý She previously worked at the University in Primary Care Clinical Sciences before moving to Warwick Medical School in 2017 following a TUPE transfer.ÌýÌýShe is funded by the NIHR using UK international development funding from the UK Government to support global health research, as well as the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) West Midlands and NIHR Midlands Patient Safety Research Collaboration (PSRC).Ìý She leads a number of projects on the Acute care interfaces theme of the West Midlands ARC and is particularly interested in the implementation of point-of-care ultrasound.Ìý She is a collaborator on several studies in primary care and population health.
