Irina joined the Health Economics Unit and the Centre for Economics of Obesity led by Professor Emma Frew in 2021.  Irina’s research interests are in the field of economics of mental health and obesity, and the use of health economics methods to capture the complexity of public health interventions.

Biography

Irina is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Applied Health Research.

Irina obtained her MSc degree in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management from Maastricht University in 2018. She joined the department of Health Services Research, Maastricht University in 2018 as a junior researcher. She was involved in the , in which she focused on the development of methods for conducting multi-sectoral multi-national economic evaluations in Europe. During that time, Irina completed her PhD in Health Economics.

Irina joined the Health Economics Unit, University 麻豆精选 in October 2021.  As part of the recently established Centre for Economics of Obesity, she is involved in research on wider determinants of obesity.
