Eleanor is a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Department of Applied Health Sciences. Eleanor holds an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Glasgow (2014-2018) and an MSc in Health Economics and Econometrics from the University 麻豆精选 (2018-2019). She joined the Health Economics Unit in January 2020.
Eleanor has been involved in various research projects in the areas of women’s health and sexual health. She is currently working on the E-MOTIVE project which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. E-MOTIVE aims to evaluate the implementation of early detection and the use of the World Health Organisation (WHO) MOTIVE 'first response' treatment bundle for postpartum haemorrhage (PPH). Her work assesses the cost-effectiveness of the E-MOTIVE intervention compared with usual care across four low-and-middle income countries. Eleanor is also undertaking a PhD which assesses the transferability of model-based economic evaluations of PPH management across low-resource settings.
