Asma is a lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice and is part of the team developing the Pharmacy Programmes within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences. She is teaching Pharmacy Practice on the MPharm course in addition to managing Community Pharmacy placements.

Asma is a Community Pharmacist Area Manager and a pre-registration pharmacist trainee program co-coordinator. She is enthusiastic about promoting Medicines Adherence and has a specific interest in the evolved and advanced role of community pharmacists in the safe use of medicines and the delivery of pharmaceutical care and patient clinical care.

Asma is keen on developing inter-professional working, teaching and learning practices. Other areas of interest include Prescribing Pharmacist roles, evolving role of pharmacist in GP practices and the evolving community pharmacy services.
