Jianmin Zuo is an Associate Professor in Immunology from the Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy.

His research focusses are viral immunology and cancer immunology. He is interested in the development of cellular therapeutic agents to target viral-related diseases and cancers.

Biography

After PhD training in Beijing China, Jianmin Zuo obtained a research training fellowship from IARC (WHO) to join the EBV immunology group in Birmingham at 2004.

He has been working on viral immunology for more than 20 years in EBV, CMV and recently COVID-19. He also has been studying the immune modulation of Natural Killer (NK) cells in Cancers, including Leukemia and Solid Cancers.聽

The inspiration is to explore the potential of NK cells based immunotherapy to treat cancers.

We study the T/NK cellular immune responses against EBV/CMV infection over the life course.

Immune modulation of Natural Killer (NK) cells in Cancers

We study the immune modulation of NK cells by Cancer and explore the approaches of NK cells based Immunotherapy.聽
