Research

Dr Law is interested in child & family beliefs regarding physical ill-health and mental ill-health. Specifically, the use of self-regulation theory to explore self-management and adjustment in child chronic illness and mental health. Additional interests include the stigma of child mental health; specifically, perceived competencies, attitudes, attributions, behavioural intentions for children/adolescents labelled with psychiatric/diagnostic symptoms and predictors of help-seeking.
