Maxine is an Assistant Professor in Children’s Nursing within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡. She has been a qualified children’s nurse since 2003. Her teaching lies in Leadership, Acute Childrens nursing and public health.

Annie Pettifer is an Assistant Professor within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.   

Annie is a registered adult nurse. Her clinical background is mostly in specialist palliative care nursing within both the community, hospice, and hospital settings.

Mrs Lauren Philp-von Woyna

Lauren is an Associate Professor in Midwifery and programme lead for the BSc (Hons) Midwifery and BSc (Hons) Midwifery Degree Apprenticeship programmes.

Lauren is an experienced midwifery academic who has worked with several UK Higher Education Institutes and other external organisations.

Mary is a clinical skills and simulation teaching fellow. She teaches across all the pre-registration nursing programmes, with a particular focus on adult nursing. Mary previously worked as a critical care nurse and a haematology stem cell transplant nurse, as well as working in older adult care.
