Richard Standage is a Registered General Nurse and a Registered Children’s Nurse and teaches on the Bachelor of Nursing degree. His main contributions are to the undergraduate Child Field of Practice modules. He is Link Tutor to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.

Amelia is a Reader in Health Professional Education and the Head of Education for the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She teaches widely across the pre-registration programmes and also contributes to post-graduate teaching in her specialist area of pain. Amelia is a champion of technology enhancement and works at Institute level to guide and promote educational enhancement and research.

Sue is a Teaching Fellow in clinical skills and simulation. She teaches across all pre-registrations nursing programmes.

Her area of special interest is palliative care.

Julie Taylor is Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She is a nurse scientist specialising in child maltreatment and Professor of Child Protection. Current work is focused on child sexual abuse; disclosures of abuse; neglect; and child abuse linked to faith and belief. Julie also has a strong focus on developing strategic research leadership.
